 | Comments: |
Very mild temps today. Pretty warm in the sun. Started early and the trail and road walk weren’t too bad. Wore spikes the whole day with minimal issues if you stay in the center of the trail. Roadwalk is mostly snow covered still with some patches of bare ground. Signal ridge trail has one spot down low we sank through the snow and into standing water above our ankles. Higher up it’s starting to get the walking on a tight rope feel but all in all not terrible yet. Winter is over and the spring slog is just beginning. |
