This is an awesome place to hike. We covered over 6 miles and hardly seen anyone all day. We were impressed with the bridges, at least 8 unique ones including a covered bridge. Lots to see out there, Rock Shelter, tri town bouder marker...etc There are at least 4 Herons in the Heron Rookery too. We may do a return trip once the chicks are born. Do recommend having a map, All Trails App or GPS. There are a load of trail here and they intersect with the trail systems in Atkinson and Hamstead too. |
