Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Amazing the difference 2 weeks make. Did the same hike 2 weeks ago and walked across Franconia Brook on solid ice. This time I had to rock hop the entire thing. Water was flowing strong and there was some ice on some of the rocks.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Some blow downs on the summit ridge and on Black Pond trails. Cleared a few.

Comments
Comments: A tough hike for sure. Planned to overnight but bailed on the overnight part due to equipment issues. But the hike itself went fine. Hard to find the trail along the summit ridge since the winds had drifted the snow significantly. Trail was badly postholed in some locations and I was even post holing while wearing snowshoes.
