Barebootable for the first mile or so. Then hillsounds until returning to that point. Rock spikes could be useful. No snow at the start. Once the monorail becomes consistent, at about 2000’, the trail is bulletproof, starting with re-frozen slush, and then firm, packed snow. Lots of postholes between Starr King and Waumbek, but the frigid temps have made everything stable for now. |
