Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: These trails have been reblazed since my last visit and they are the nicest painted blazes I've ever seen! Perfect straight edges and no drips. Great work! Some of the bog bridges are busted here and there but I did notice a pile of lumber near the trailhead that looked like it was being staged for repairs.

Comments
Comments: I stopped in here to check out the new-ish Ledges Trail, which breaks off from the main trail around the bog at the NE corner. It's a short 0.2-mi. loop that climbs to a viewpoint overlooking the bog and out to Tenney Mtn. This isn't a wide open vista though as the view is restricted by trees.

In general, the northern part of the main loop was dry but on the shadier southern side of the bog there was still a lot of ice monorail. Some may want spikes but the monorail is not continuous. I was able to bare boot through here with care.
