Comments
Comments: Chose to give area hiking trails some more time to drain and went with this network of logging roads.

Yesterday's storm dropped about half a foot of wet snow. Coupled with unfrozen, previously bare ground and temperatures in the 40s, conditions were sloppy today. 1-4" of wet snow remains with some underlying slush and hardpack (generally limited to the northern face of South Peak). Steeps, for what they are, are slippery on descent due to the slop, but I don't think Microspikes would be much help due to snowballing. I opted to bareboot, but others may prefer to have something on to prevent slipping.
