 | Comments: |
The road walk was clear. The usual wet areas before and after the 2 water crossings were easily avoided. A trace to 4 inches of new snow on the trail. Monorail starts at about 3.5 mils in. Some bare areas from there to the switchbacks. Snowshoes or light traction will work well for the remainder of the climb. Trail Crampon Pro, K-10 would be better for the section of the Garfield Ridge Trail from the intersection to the summit. These conditions should hold up for the next few days. Quick and easy. |
