Comments
Comments: A few inches of fresh powder recently. Snowed all day with high winds and near whiteout conditions on top of Eisenhower. Webster-Jackson Trail to Jackson had a few inches of fresh powder but a solid base underneath. Webster Cliff Trail from Jackson to Pierce hadn’t been touched in awhile. Was able to follow an old set of mostly filled in boot tracks. This section is mostly unconsolidated, lots of bent over trees and blow downs. Crawford Path from Pierce to Eisenhower has had some traffic but high winds and fresh snow caused some drifting and loose powder areas mixed with some exposed rock. Crawford Path from Rt 302 to Pierce saw a lot of snowshoe traffic today and was a nice solid highway by the time we were heading down.
