Trail is in great shape. The first mile was completely snow free and dry with a few patchy spots of flowing runoff. Further in, the only snow on the ground seemed to be what fell overnight, 2-3" at the summit at most. Passing the junction with the Black mtn trail I noticed that trail has a bit more snow on it being on the north side of the mountain. All exposed rock at the viewpoints are completely bare. There are a few spots in the shaded areas where the dusting of new snow conceals some solid ice so keep that in mind. Spikes would help with that |
