Trail has dried and thawed a bit relative to a week ago, but there is still some snow remaining up high from Monday's storm, as well as a few legacy patches from the winter. Other parts of the steeps were greasier than last week due to the newer snow melting. Loop was barebootable, at least prior to whatever's coming in tonight.
Beautiful spring afternoon with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 40s. |
