 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Fauver Link Parking lot was pretty-well plowed but there were a couple inches fresh snow/ice today. Back roads leading to/from the Plymouth and Bridgewater sides were a bit sketchy with mud and ice. 4WD seemed pretty important. |

Terrific morning in the local area after reassessing the driving situation due to freezing rain. Woods were beautiful. No views from outlooks. My first time (I think) on East Cliff - I will have to return when I can see something because it looked like there might be an impressive view. Pikes Peak outlook is getting pretty grown in. I snowshoed entire way; snow isn't that deep but I enjoyed the stability of the snowshoes. I could kind of see a lumpy track most of the way which is how I found the trail as blazes weren't always obvious. |
