The road is roped off, forcing parking for the Tripoli Road ascent into the Livermore Trailhead parking lot, which is $5 to park in. It was plowed out. |

Plenty of blowdowns, mostly minor annoyances, one massive branchy pine requiring significant detour. |

There was deep fresh snow everywhere. The first mile of the trail proper was awkward, since there was 6+ inches of powder on top of bare rocks. But now there's a fully broken trail up from the summer parking lot to the summit, with at least 3 pairs of snowshoes packing it. Waterville Valley had groomed the road for XC skiers by the afternoon, so that is solidly packed down. |
