High speed hardpack snow with some areas of ice. Up top where tree coverage becomes sparse, the snow has been mostly blown off exposing rock and ice. The best route is to take the right leg of the summit loop as the left (clockwise) branch leads to some areas of narrow monorail with drops of up to about 5 feet on the low side. No water flowing on the trail. |
