Comments
Comments: We cleaned all deadfall and blowdowns on this section of trail -- from the parking area on 123, all the way north, to the Class 6 road crossing just east of Jackson Hill -- but for two small, annoying exceptions: one, 0.6 miles south of Jackson Hill, the other, 0.7 miles north of Pitcher Mountain. Both of these can be removed with a Silky Saw, a pair of loppers, and a bit of elbow grease (we didn't have our saw with us). Two of us were able to brute-force the rest of the six or seven blowdowns off the trail. Some still have a small branch or two poking into the trail -- loppers can take care of these.

Otherwise, trail is in fine shape. Minor amounts of spring snow, some water here and there, but most dry trail.

A very nice day to be out on this section of the Greenway and enjoy completely bare-bootable conditions.
