 | Comments: |
Pretty patchy down low, mostly dry/bare until spikes on at 2700' up, off at 2600' on descent. Often I end up waiting an extra contour line or two to put them on because I always wear trail runners and putting them on too early is mildly aggravating for my feet. Transitionally icy until monorail starts at 3000' and becomes a stable snowpack on the ridge with some minor bare stretches. The scramble up to the summit of owls head is rather icy so I stayed off in the trees to the left and was fine. Absolutely beautiful calm bluebird day, I love it!! |
