I found a place to turn around 0.2 before the trail. The road could be bad if it thaws, but it was frozen this morning. |

A big tree (10”) across the road just before the trail. I saw a man on a tractor cutting firewood on the way out, maybe he will get to it soon. |

 | Comments: |
Came over right after Huntley from Sand Pond. This was a very pleasant, remote little mountain with a ledgy summit. I headed right up through a logged area, but was able to find the trail once I got to the summit. It was hard to follow at first and had some avoidable ice on the rock. There is a nice little log cabin near the trailhead and Forest Society signage. Total of 1.5 miles round trip in 41 minutes. |
