Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of 12"+ diameter trees down ~1.5 miles up from the TH...2nd one is an easy stopover. The last .75 mile to the summit is still a mess of downed trees and the monorail has been established around them.

Comments
Comments: Original plan was Madison/Adams but 60 mph winds called for an audible to Moriah. Bare trail for first 1.5 miles, small patches of snow were less slippery than the mud. Put spikes on after the first open ledge and kept them on until the same spot on the way down. I find the Hillsounds a much better than Kahtoolas, and my HS's were great on the steep ledges (on both bare rock and the ice/snow). Some deep snow still in the last ~.5 mile to the summit, but the monorail is pretty solid (a few inches to either side, not so much).
