Beautiful day to be out with the GF and the pup. I needed a spring ascent Daniels Mountain for a 4 seasons list I am working on MFF. (Monadnock Fifty Finest) For the most part trails were dry. There was a couple spots that we had to navigate around. On Daniels Mountain Loop trail there is one spot that we had to navigate around a large puddle ( right from the junction of Daniels Mountain loop trail and Ann Stokes loop trail lower section). There is a good flowing stream crossing the Ann Stokes Loop trail .10 mile to the left from the junction where the mailbox is. Other than those 2 spots most water crossings were bridged and easy to navigate. All photos are posted on my FB page "Drozer Hikes" follow to see them. |
