Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Little River is completely open and running as high as one would expect. ET and Kurt went upriver about 100' and found a path to boulder-hop (or leap) across. I tossed on trash bags and waded across the wider pool just upriver. The main channel was a good 24" deep and the current is strong enough for me to warrant keeping two points of contact with the riverbed (so if you are a human, you'll probably want a trekking pole/stick/staff to do this). For the larger crossing on Gale River Trail we found a decent rock path a bit upriver from the trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are plenty of smaller blowdowns on all these trails but nothing major.

Comments
Comments: The trails were surprising good and remained stable all day. WoodsyJess' recent OAB to South Twin covers those trails well so I will just comment on North Twin Trail. There is still a good 36-40" of snow up high with some short sections of narrow elevated monorail. The snow base drops quickly as we descended. Around 3,300' there is a long stretch of trail where the snow is washed out. Below 2,500' there are just patches of ice.
