No parking signs at the end of Bangor St. Parked near the powerline cut there is no fee. |

Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Mud - Significant, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes |

No water crossings but the trail has become a small stream in areas or flooded with standing water from the snowmelt |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Cut many blowdowns. Some areas before the summit need more work. New trail markers or possible reroute. Some hangers look up if it’s windy |

Saw a metal water bottle somewhere between Mt. Surprise and Moriah |

 | Comments: |
Be careful on sections with thick ice and glazed rock frozen from the night before. Occasional postholes. Didn’t put microspikes on until a ways after Mt. Surprise. Snowshoes went for a ride today but consider bringing them as the snow is deep up high and was getting soft by 2pm |
