Comments
Comments: We did the traverse from South to North on a beautifully sunny day. There was quite a bit of snow at the SM trailhead at lower elevations, but as we climbed and hit some of the ledges below the south summit, it was all bare rock. We had carried snowshoes with us, and glad we did, because the section between middle and north Moat wasn't well broken out and with the warmer temps, we post holed at a few spots. Nothing super crazy, though. You could probably get by with spikes all the way. Just a little bit of ice here and there on the descent -overall just a beautiful hike with incredible views all day long.
