Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot had snow but was driveable

Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Drifts, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: No issues 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One large tree down that requires crawling under. Other than that, just ththe usual winter bunch of spruce branches in ththe way

Dog-Related Notes: Okay for short hair pups but too much powder and wet snow for long hair

Comments
Comments: Trail had 2 to 6 inches of fresh powder that turned wet and sticky down low later in the day. Only myself and 3 other hikers,two of whom didn't hit Osceola, none of whom had snowshoes
But with the drifting up high, snowshoes would have been helpful. Postholes were hidden beneath the snow, making them a pain in the ankle.
