Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One blowdown. We kicked aside debris and small deadfall on the way up. Gravel has been spread in spots along the trail and what looks like a large drainage channel has been cut. Looks like this might still be in progress? Not sure. The route is now signed well at key turns in the ascending direction only.

Comments: Thanks to the hiker who reported on this recently. After many years of being closed to the public, the main access point for Winn Mtn. at the end of Joslin Rd. in Lyndeborough is now open again. Thanks to the generosity of the new landowners, hikers can once again enjoy this scenic southern NH summit. This is a favorite of mine and a friend's, and we are thrilled this access is open again!

The trailhead has clear signage and rules about what you can and cannot do on this private land. Please respect these rules so that public access remains open to all.

The route to the summit, comprised of woods roads, is now called Winn Mountain Trail. The roads were mostly dry with some stretches of draining water and mud, but nothing crazy.

Just past the summit high point, a beaten path descends SE to a bench and ledge with a fantastic view. Boston was clearly visible today. Views from the summit were as super as I remember too, especially of the higher peaks of the Wapack Range. We hung out at the bench for a while and watched the turkey vultures floating in the breeze. A beautiful day for a return to this gem of a peak!
