Trails started out wet and muddy with ~2" of fresh powder on top from last night. By 3k ft the snow was deeper, ~4-6" of fresh powder on top of the deep base, and I switched to snow shoes. There is still alot of snow at 4k feet. I could almost see over the trees going to the Galehead summit. Special thanks to the two people who went up ahead of me and also did the Twins - thanks for blazing the trail. On the way out the trail below 2k feet was even more wet and muddy. |
