Comments
Comments: A few inches of fresh powder from Tuesday night at the beginning of the trail. Need microspikes shortly after crossing road. Six inches or more and significant drifting once over the top of Jackson. Trail was hard to follow, with blowdowns, drifting, and poor painted trail markers. White paint doesn't show well when covered with blown snow. Put on snowshoes about halfway to Mizpah hut; should have done it sooner. Webster Cliff trail out of Mizpah is steep and blocked in several places. Cleared many blowdowns, but some were just too big and I had to go around. Crawford path is smooth, well-packed snow almost to the bottom.
