Comments
Comments: First mile mix of bare ground, leaves, hardpack snow, mud, water and rocks. At about one mile in there is a more direct approach bushwhack left of the trail for 3/4 mile that rejoins the blazed trail. Used Exospikes all the way to Iso Express then switched to snowshoes til summit. Deeper consolidated softer snow until Engine Hill bushwhack at 2.75 miles with some muddy open water somewhat avoidable. Snow became deeper as elevation increased but pretty packed, a few postholes. Summit was mostly bare dry rock. On the return mashed potatoes consistency but firmness held.
