Comments
Comments: The entire loop was firmly packed and in great shape. Microspikes the entire way; snowshoes got a free ride. Some exposed ice on steep sections of Old Bridle Path, which was due to people buttsliding and wiping the snow away, but fortunately grip wasn't an issue due to the mild temps softening the ice. Still lots of snow on the 'Ridge- easily 2-4 feet above 3,000 feet up to treeline. Once above treeline, the snow depths on the trail proper were much lower, although everything was covered in snow as well as rime ice. Definitely still winter up there (for now anyway).

Only saw a little over a dozen people over the course of the hike, and I had the entire ridge portion from Little Haystack to Lafayette all to myself.
