Durrell Mountain, Ayers Pond Peak, Moon Mtn, Durell - Moon Mtn, Unnamed Peak
This mountain has many names. LOL We have had The high point in Bradford, NH in our to-do list for a while. This hike does get steep. Finally decided to take it off the to-do list. We parked where Old Mountain road become a Class 6 Road. Hiked about 1/2 mile to an old logging landing area to start the hike. The whole hike was 2 1/2 miles. We hit minimal snow cover at 1700'. Not much excitement on this one. Viewless summit, but there is a sign in jar mounted to a tree at summit. We did a short video of the hike if anyone is interested in seeing it, click the link below. |
