most were no issue, the big crossing was icy in the morning so rock hoping was not a great option so got my shoes a little wet crossing on submerged rocks. By afternoopn the rocks were all dry and free of ice so no issue. The smaller crossing were all ez rock hops |

lots of bent over trees need attention and at ~3000 ft there are two big trees down on the trail which have herd paths around them at this point. |

found a wallet on little river road, it's being mailed back to it's owner today |

no snow until ~2000'. ice obvious on the trail until about 2500' when I no longer could see it under the snow. did bare boots untill about 2600' then snow shoes the rest of the way. The n twin spur still has a lot of snow, could be 4' or more in many places. It was fun to have a view over the trees as I headedd from the outlook rockks to N Twin summit. Snow on the Trail is starting to break down in areas, especially on side slopes were the downhill side has mostly disappeared and you are walking in the trees on the uphill side. Great day in the mountains. |
