 | Comments: |
Hillsound microspikes from the start of Tuckerman and up and down the Fire Road. The Fire Road was as packed out as Tuck’s was. Both trails were in great shape. Put on snowshoes at the junction to go down Raymond Path. It looked like no one had been on this trail in quite some time. Because the temps were warm and the sun was out, the snow was both sticky and slippery in snowshoes, but the varying snow depth was best in the shoes. From the junction of Raymond Path and Old Jackson Road, snow on Old Jackson Road started out requiring snowshoes but thinned to the point where bare boots were best. Looked like just a dozen boots had been on this trail recently. |
