This is a good spring hike right now. The 1st mile is bare and there are wet spots and some mud to circumnavigate. The snowpack above 2200' is surprisingly firm for it being 60+ the past two days. I was able to bareboot all the way up and wore spikes for the first 1/3 mile down as there are some icy spots on the steep decline. |
