Comments
Comments: Bare Booting did the job. Heading up alpine spring to the carry on was mostly dry, minimal mud. Pine Mountain had some patches until closer to chapel rock there was a stretch with spring snow, not completely packed definitely soft but minimal post holing, one could reckon this small section could use snow shoe, but personally it wasn’t necessary and that’s from someone that always carry’s just in case. Some blow down Pine Mtn Trail. The chapel rock spur is only accessible in off season for Church Camp. BEST view of this hike, go while you can.. fun little scramble up to it. Blow down on this section some snow/ ice could use spikes or carefully barefoot. From the rest of the way, dry trail all the way to Pine Mtn Summit.
