Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Should I laugh now? At 2.33 miles total-on carter dome trail is where the first one I saw. I did not keep track after that because wow. A lot will be able to move when it thaws out but some chainsaws and lots of elbow grease for a hand saw will do it. I cut out 2 trees on the imp trail and dragged pretty much a full tree off it as well. The worst is carter moriah trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw puppy prints on imp but never saw a puppy
Bugs
Bugs: I scared them off
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost nothing, found a pair of goodr’s on imp

Comments
Comments: Well today was suppose to be a Jefferson day but winds were too high for that. Should I have skied? Yes, but this was for sure worth the day! What amazing conditions for April! I barebooted until the ice luge around 3800’. Rock spikes until 2700’. It was insanely bare, or straight hard packed. This extra winter time has made the melt out imo amazing!! Saw not a soul out there, got wind up high and views of the presi’s :) what a day! Joe dodge has a few things to clean up but looks like they just got a tree cleared from their road and maybe they are starting to set up for the summer! Can’t wait for summer for sure, but until then… I will take these epic conditions. Temps when I started: 32, ended with: 50. Get it while it is good!!
