 | Comments: |
Early morning up to South Moat was mostly dry. By the afternoon on my return, the exposed slabs were wet from flowing water in the sun. Not slippery and easy to avoid, but may freeze over again if temps dip at night. Summits were mostly dry with some ice in shaded areas. Between Middle and North, when the trail dips back into the trees, there's still monorail in various stages of decay. Light traction could help, but not strictly necessary. Rather windy, but a beautiful day in the Southern Whites. |
