Comments
Comments: Great hike to these two peaks today. The trail for the first mile and half dry and spring like conditions at 45 degrees when i started. The trail transitions quickly into a solid snow well packed trail that continued all the way to both peaks and back that never required the use of snowshoes. Micro spikes would be helpful on several sections, but I never had any issues with post hole problems. Mount Waumbek has an outlook that was blocked my several tree limbs leading to it. The views from Mount Starr King of the Presidential’s were impressive. A really nice day to grab these two peaks.
