Comments
Comments: Haven't hiked in the Whites for a while but took my buddy on her first 4k hike and this was a good choice. Normally takes me a little over an hour to pass Pierce on the way to Ike--not today. But very fast descent, practically skiing in bare-boots (no traction needed IMO). Temps were in the 50's so the trail surface was slippery but not dangerously so. The Crawford Path never fails to please me, especially with a newbie to hiking in the Whites.
