I needed the 2 mile section between North peak and South peak. Because I’d already hiked from both ends to the peaks and just needed the middle, I decided to see how far I could take the Jeep up the Class VI Old Wolfeboro Road (from the 3 Mile Road side). Fortunately, that road was in very good shape for a fair distance. The hike was quick, I saw no one, there were limited views through the trees that will be gone as soon as the leaves pop, and the Moose Mtn trail was excellent shape. |
