A three person crew was working on the lower end of the trail today and they did an excellent job. It is in perfect shape - well done! The upper quarter of the trail has a fair amount of snow and ice on it. I had the microspikes with me, but never put them on. I was a little surprised that it was easier to navigate and avoid slippage on the descent. Past trail crews have done top notch, impressive stair work on the upper half of the trail. There were good views of The Moose through the trees. A pleasant hike through some nice forest. |
