Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the forest was had. April 26, check. Trail conditions have changed significantly since six days ago. None more apparent then the snow depth has decreased approximately one foot around the Alpine Zone sign. Bareboot to 2850, of which then it was more efficient for spikes. Fast and firm despite a week of elevated temps and now rain. Rail is beginning to form, but there is still feet to go in some spots. We used similar layers today of a Winter above-treeline trek. A really good day, I echo woodsyjess' sentiment of much better than anticipated! This brings me to 364/366 for every day 4k!
