We got a break in the rain on Saturday. Kaya and I made a go of it on an easy hike up Bear Mountain from the east side (rte 63). There was a little bit of mud and running water along the woods road portion in the start. Was easy to navigate around and keep dry feet. After you leave the road portion of the hike. It could use a little brushing to prevent overgrowth on the start of the trail. Trail is well marked and easy to follow. TICKS!!! Haha. They were bad today even with the rain. I picked 7 off Kaya and 1 crawling up my leg. Be warned! |
