Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: After driving across the covered bridge, I parked in the small lot across from the trailhead. It is a fee lot, though the iron ranger was wrapped. I hung my geezer National Park Pass in the window to cover my butt.

Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: I went clockwise, which gives one an easier grade up and a slightly steeper grade down, which is my preference. Nice views from multiple ledges. Perfect weather, no bugs, and open woods with no foliage allowed for a magical day.

Various signage and guides have this loop at 3.0-3.1 miles, it’s more like 3.6-3.65.
