Comments
Comments: Throughout hike before hitting the loop.. there was dry trail, there was running water/ standing water, mud, there was softening monorail. It’s all there, wet roots/ rock just be careful some places as snow melt & drainage can complicate a bit. We went clockwise up Hancock over Middle to South and down the loop from there. monorail mostly stable if you stay on it while it becomes narrow. Some sections softening of monorail but no post holing unless you step off. All I can say is bring your traction. Spikes would do, definitely not bareboot in some section. slow going, with some ice heading down from south. Beautiful day, trail is, well a mixed bag.. shoulder season special.
