Omfg what a day!!! We had all 5 summits to ourselves and saw a total of 2 people (excluding muggles on LW, those don't count for stats). We barebooted car to car, something ridiculously ludicrous and not surprising considering how sticky the snow was as elevation. Pretty stable from hut up to zeacliff and then miles and miles of horrifically trashy semi-stable very narrow monorail down to the top crossing on Bondcliff trail and patchy down to 2500' below the 3rd crossing. West Bond spur was next dimensions of fun as we kept angling too far to the south and off the monorail into the open woods, managed to correct all of these deviations on the return, yay! Summits above treeline are bare and rocky. I gridded out April on Bondcliff!!! |
