 | Comments: |
Clear day, but windy on the ridge with likely 50+ mph gusts primarily at the cols, enough to displace steps if not bracing against it. Beautiful clear views 360 degrees. Trail mostly dry with minimal areas of mud and or water. No need for spikes; minimal stands of mostly unstable monorail, easily skirted. Nice night at Greenleaf Hut with bunk temps around 45 degrees (no wood stove in lodge). In summary, windy but super great walk, not in the rain. |
