 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Davis Path from treeline to Isolation has many large trees down. A few of them require trekking a bit off the trail into slightly swampy forest. Worst of this is from treeline to North Isolation |

Trail runners and tee shirt for a near perfect weather day to walk out to Isolation from the Ammo lot. In the clouds on Monroe in what was a rather humid and warm pre sun-up summit. Caught the sunrise through the clouds on Camel Trail. Trail is a hot mess of rotting monorail, spring type snow patches (unavoidable in a number of spots) and plenty of blowdowns once below treeline on Davis Path/Isolation Trail. Moved by most of it quick enough and only set my leg into a handful of postholes as there are bits of snow that were needed to traverse over. Mud and running water was surprisingly minimal. Top of Washington was very busy with what appeared to be set up. |
