Some buzzing but not bothersome |

 | Comments: |
Bare-booted entire hike today. Intermittent ruminants of the monorail on Avalon and WRT. None on the steep sections of trail, and all were supportive although narrow; good for practicing your balance beam skills. Or, in most sections it was easy to walk on sides of monorail. Thunder started around 12:30 while approaching Tom summit; only sprinkles on descent. Sure lit a fire under me to get moving, but by 1:40 at the TH skies were blue. However, it looked like more storm clouds would be rolling through soon. |
