Comments
Comments: Ended up being a nice day down here today. After the morning of kayaking the Contoocook, Becca and I did on more thing and that was to hike Crotched. We followed The Bennington Trail about a third of the way but decided decided to follow the orange ribbons since I said this looks like a ski route. It was nice now since brush hasn't grown up and we followed the wide corridor all the way to the top of the ski area. From top of ski area we took path to the summit..old fire tower site and communications tower. We took break at the picnic table at the ledges but biting bugs kept us from staying long. Good views and clouds just covering top of Monadnock. Good fun hike.
