At about elev 2500', a ten inch dia.Spruce tree is a difficult duck under and path around is getting established. Oh, drainage work would go a long ways to help mud/wet trail on bottom quarter of the trail. |

People did a good job parking today, 7 cars fit! Wild flowers just beginning to bloom. Lower thir trail getting wide due to poor drainage. Nice views this morning, clouds above 4k and weather stayed nice all morning. Ran into rain on drive home. This is a nice hike. Herd path to highpoint is really as good as the trail now. Glad Ellen joined me today.
