Comments
Comments: Excellent morning to hike to Unknown Pond as well as to the beautiful viewpoint ledge located just off Kilkenny Ridge Trail at height of land. Bushwhacked in and eventually ended up on a nicely traveled herdpath through beautiful birch glades to the ledge high point overlooking Unknown Pond and beyond.Lost herdpath on way out but popped out at FPA sign KKRT. Well worth the visit. Nice briefly chatting with the two hikers on the way. Missed heavy showers by ten minutes.
