Comments
Comments: Day two of a Hale/Willey Range backpack. Camped at Ethan Pond. Seems like the Willey Ladders lose another run or two every year. I was last here in November 2023 and I recall they were in bad shape, but better than now. I didn't have any trouble regardless. Easy cruise over the ridge, only a couple small patches of snow remain. A-Z from the junction to the Zealand trail clearly doesn't see much traffic. One big area of blowdown with 3-4 large ones atop each other. Several other smaller ones. Zealand trail flooded out in spots. Who cares, your feet are going to be wet anyway. Ton of water all over.
